Date Muffins with Cocoa Orange Bars

Delicious date muffins as a nutritious snack alternative to cake 

These muffins are a perfect combination of sweetness, moistness and rich flavours!

Makes 14 muffins


200 g. dates
135 g. Hey Planet's Cocoa Orange Protein Bar (3 bars)
2 tbsp. orange juice
20 g. grated orange zest
0,5 dl. rapeseed oil
100 g. almonds
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. cocoa powder
0,5 banana
1 tsp. vanilla sugar
2 eggs



Remove the pits from the dates and cut Hey Planet's protein bars into smaller pieces
Start by blending almonds, dates, protein bars, and oil.
Then add the remaining ingredients and blend until desired consistency. If the dough is too dry, you can add some water or oat milk.
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
Put the batter into muffin molds and bake for 15-20 minutes.


The cake contains both dates directly and dates from the protein bars. Dates taste sweet and are a good source of dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
