Delightful apple crumble pie

Apple pie with a delicious proteinbar crumble

This apple crumble pie will bring you the best memories from your grandma's house. We made the crumble with a little twist and added chunks of our Apple Cinnamon Proteinbar. 


For filling

700 g apple

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 tsp cardamom

0.5 vanilla pod

For crumble

2 Hey Planet Apple Cinnamon Proteinbars

150 g oats

100 g flour

30 g almonds

75 g sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

0.5 vanilla pod

150 g butter


Preheat your oven to 175 degrees celsius.

Peel and cut apples into slices.

Mix apples, sugar, cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla. Display nicely into your pie form.

Roughly chop almonds and Hey Planet Proteinbars.

Mix oats, flour, almonds, proteinbars, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla.

Melt butter and add it to your mixture.

Crumble your mix onto the apple slices.

Bake for 30-45 minutes. 


Serve with sour cream or whipped cream and enjoy!
