Mexican burger with sustainable patties

Here, we present our suggestions on how to create a delicious dinner with a Mexican twist.


For 4 burgers

Ingredients:

4 burger buns (according to your preference)
4 Hey Planet's patties (available via foody.dk and Magasin Mad&Vin)
1 head of lettuce 
2 large tomatoes
1 red onion
Salsa
2 avocados
1 clove of garlic
1 tsp. lemon juice
4 slices of cheddar cheese

  

Method:

Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and scoop out the avocado flesh into a bowl

Mash the avocado

Press the garlic into the mashed avocado and add a little lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper

Slice the tomatoes and red onion. Rinse and chop the lettuce to your liking

Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties on both sides until they are browned. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt

Spread guacamole on the burger buns and place the patty on the bottom bun

Add salsa and vegetables

Finally, add the top bun as the lid
