Here's a simple recipe to guide you in making a perfect Hey Planet burger. The patties are super rich in umami and low in fat, so you want to balance it with some pickles and a full fat mayonnaise.
Ingredients
For two burgers
Two Hey Planet patties
Burger buns (we recommend brioche or potato)
Pickled red onion
Mayonnaise (we recommend chili mayo and/or aioli)
Crispy lettuce
A few slices of cucumber
Oil for frying
Method
Fry the patty on a medium-hot pan with a good amount of rapeseed oil. Fry on both sides for 4-5 minutes until it becomes a little crispy. Warm the buns and you know the drill.
