Did you know that "one pot" dishes started when Martha Stewart made a one pot pasta dish on television?
There are so many different one pot dishes out there. We decided to make a one pot pasta with Hey Planet sustainable and planetarian meat, but there really is no limit to what you can put in it.
For the dish:
1 tbsp oil or butter for frying
450 g Hey Planet Minced Meat
1 chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp oregano
0.5 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp paprika
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper
0.5 tsp grated ginger
2 cups tomato sauce
3 cups veggie broth
1.5 cups pasta
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high. Add onion and cook until semi-transparent.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add your Hey Planet Minced Meat and cook until well done over medium heat.
Add all dry ingredients/spices. Mix well.
Stir in tomato sauce and veggie broth. Cover and leave to boil on high heat.
Add pasta and reduce heat to medium. Leave to cook, covered for 8 to 10 minutes. Stir often.
Serve with basil and parmesan.
