Healthy and refreshing orange chocolate shake with extra protein


Our date and nut bars are a thoroughly healthy snack meal filled with sustainable protein, B12, fibre, iron, Omega-3 etc. But if you’re up for it, you can easily use them as sweetener in a healthy shake, which also then gets a boost of nutrients.

We’ve made a recipe for an orange chocolate shake which tastes just as sinful as it is healthy. It’s perfect before a run, walk or bike ride outside (if you’re a fan of nature, our planet-friendly protein makes sense, for sure) or as a healthy breakfast before work or school.


Healthy and refreshing orange chocolate shake with extra protein

2 servings


250 ml almond milk
2 bananas, sliced and frozen
4 tbsp cocoa powder
3 tbsp almonds without peel
1 Hey Planet Cocoa Orange Protein Bar in small pieces
1 orange
Ice cubes


Squeeze the orange and put the juice in a blender along with the rest of the ingredients minus the ice cubes.

Blend thoroughly and serve the shake over ice.
