Easy and filling tacos with a delicious "Big Mac" sauce
These viral Big Mac Tacos are so so simple and easy. It's tacos with a twist and we can't get enough - We're pretty sure you'll love them too.
This recipe makes 6 mini tacos.
Ingredients
For the sauce
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 tbsp ketchup
3 tbsp mustard
1/2 finely chopped onion
1 finely chopped pickle
1 tbsp pickle juice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp sugar
Salt and pepper
To serve
6 mini tortillas
300 g Hey Planet Minced Meat
6 tbsp oil or butter for frying
6 cheddar cheese slices
Crispy lettuce
Fresh tomatoes
1 onion
Sesame seeds
Method
Thaw Hey Planet Minced Meat in the fridge the night before you make the dish.
Finely chop onion and pickle.
Mix together all the ingredients for the sauce including finely chopped onion and pickle. Put in the fridge to chill.
Mash out Hey Planet meat onto the tortillas, approx. 50 grams per tortilla.
Heat a pan over medium heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil. Once the pan is hot, add the first tortilla with the meat facing down.
Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until the meat is cooked. Flip the tortilla and add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the meat. Cook until the cheese is melted.
Repeat with all of your tortillas, add a tbsp oil or butter before you fry a new tortilla.
In the meantime, cut up your tomatoes, onion and lettuce.
Assemble your tacos and top with sesame seeds.
